Where Can I Find My GW Serial On Play NC?
I purchased a Guild Wars account online & am having a bit of trouble with it so I contacted a GW staff member & they said that in order to help me they would need the serial I used to register the account. Well I checked my email etc but couldn't find the serial but I did find the following which reads:

Go under game accounts and click on your guildwars account...it will show you the last 5 digits of your serial numbers...
I didn't find any full serial numbers listed... |

Log on to Guild Wars, when you get to the char screen look at the bottom left, it will say Edit account, then manage cd keys =D

Also, it should have been emailed to your email address.

Yes it was emailed to my address but I got rid of the email which was a stupid mistake. Also, Lich, yes it says manage CD keys but it doesn't actually tell you what your CD key is.
Thanks anyway. |

Thing is once you add a key you never need to have it again unless you get yourself in trouble. And you should have gotten a key to input into the game client the first time you installed it if you did it legally. That email says specifically to Retain it as proof of purchase by printing it out. This is the same as our Retail CD keys with our discs that we scratch off with a penny...
Point is, Once its in the game, you never use it again. All you do is log in. no matter where you are. If the game client is in the machine you can log in anywhere. If your needing it for some reason, I know not why. I am assuming Anet is asking you for it to deal with support over something. There is no way I know of to retrieve it if you did not print out your PoP... NCSoft store MAY be able too retrieve it with your CC purchase if it was done legally through them. Yea sorry. I had to say it. You would not believe how many people buy accounts off ebay only to get scammed and have the account hijacked from them at some point in the future, and they turn around after looting it, and resell the account again...
Anyways. You should be able to get Anet support to help with their store, if thats how you got it. NCSoft store only if you purchased it from the master account like if you own another NCSoft game. Either way though I think Anet support can help you with what you got and the CC used to purchase it... Just curious, cause I have never found a reason to need th key again. Why are you being asked for it? Just being nosy. sorry... |
